waronhunger

Lupus Fighters of America Foundation is taking action now against COVID 19, the War on Hunger and Homelessness. Researchers estimates that throughout the year hundred of thousands in Nevada will contract COVID 19 as well as nearly 15,000 will go hungry and an additional 16,500+ people will be homeless without shelter in Clark County on top of our existing homeless population.

Nevada is known for its glitz and glamour of the Las Vegas Strip, but Clark County also has the U.S.’s eighth largest homeless population and were increasing in the daily amount of growing COVID 19 cases in our county.

“A lot of people only know homelessness to be at Foremaster Lane and Main Street, or on Las Vegas Boulevard,” – “But many fail to realize the hidden homeless that are out here and not accounted for.” Our homeless need help to protect them from COVID 19 as well as to contain the spread of the virus.

We can use your assistance, here’s a way you can get involved to help us assist the Healthcare Industry against COVID 19, the War on Hunger & Homelessness. “Did you know that each day new cases of the COVID 19 virus are being found, we have over 100,000 cases of COVID 19 in the US and its increasing daily. Nevada has numerous positive cases of COVID 19 and growing, Clark County alone has 5k+ hunger children students, 13k+ Lupus patients and 30k+ homeless individuals & families in Nevada, who need assistance.

Lupus Fighters of America is a 501c3 Federal Exempt Non Profit Foundation, all proceeds received are 100% tax deductible to the fullest extent of the law. Contributions received will be used to provide the following listed below.

    • 30% percent of proceeds will be used to assist our first (1st) line of defense; which is our Healthcare Medical Staff. They are in drastic need of medical supplies to protect them from contracting the virus as they serve the patients with COVID 19. Supplies will be delivered to Hospitals, Quarantine Stations & Clinics across Nevada and abroad. We must come together, one can not do it along, we need your assistance.

  • 20% percent of the proceeds will be used to provide non emergency transportation (to & from doctor visits) and first response delivery (medical supplies, food/water pickup & drop off) service throughout Nevada and aboard.

  • 20% percent of the proceeds will be used to provide Temporary Shelter for the Homeless; which can be build as a dome unit or as an individual small unit shown below. As well; these units can be constructed and used as isolation (quarantine) units for COVID-19 patients in order not to overload the hospitals and or clinics. At the same-time, early medical graduates, interns, volunteers and adequate professional staff can assist these patients in the surrounding communities. We can build these secure and insulated units in 14 days or less.

  • 30% percent of the proceeds will be used to provide safe, secured, vacuum sealed MRE’s (Meals Ready to Eat) to those in need during this global pandemic. The MRE’s pouches are full meals packed with calories (ranging from 1600 – 5000 calories per package) and will include snacks (cookie/cake/pop tart), juice, folk, spoon, napkin/wet wipe, coffee and a flame-less food heater pouch – some may include water pouches. Food will be hot and ready to eat in 10 minutes.
